Hi! I'm Lauren, the artist behind the silly username Mosslette. Welcome to my mosh pit of a portfolio!I'm a tra-digital artist based in Wales, UK, fluent in two languages and usually accompanied by my dog (who gets more of my time than I’d like to admit).I specialise in 2D artwork, working in both traditional and digital mediums. I often aim to make my digital pieces resemble traditional materials—especially watercolour.My work typically focuses on original characters, sweeping landscapes, and fan art of characters I love. I also enjoy creating traditional “paw-traits” in watercolours.My inspirations are broad and ever-growing, but if I had to name a few: Studio Laika, Fran Bow, Steve Gabry, Ruby Gloom, and just a sprinkle of Strawberry Shortcake 🍰My art journey started in college in 2013, where I studied traditional techniques and even had the chance to exhibit my work. Since then, I’ve continued developing my skills through online courses, especially focusing on digital art and stylisation.Currently I'm working on a webcomic by the name of 'Magical Girl, Retired', which is in its early stages of planning and designing.Feel free to check out my artwork below!
